Union Ascent Ltd
Terms & Conditions
Last updated 12 September 2026
1. Who we are
These Terms & Conditions are between you and Union Ascent Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the seller and operator of Married to an Entrepreneur, an interactive digital workbook delivered as a web application (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing access, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
The Service is a self-guided digital workbook: fifteen guided chapters with readings, reflections, exercises, check-ins, journaling, conversation prompts, a vision planner and related tools. Your answers are saved to your private account so you can return to them on any device. The Service is educational and reflective in nature; it is not therapy, counselling, or professional advice of any kind.
3. Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address — there are no passwords. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for all activity that takes place under your account. You must provide an accurate email address and keep it up to date. Access is personal to you: please don't share your sign-in link or account with others.
4. Your licence
When you purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, copy, or publicly share the content of the workbook, reverse engineer the Service, or attempt to circumvent access controls or technical limits.
5. Payments and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and transaction mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date via paddle.net or hello@unionascent.com.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive;
- send spam or use the Service to harass or harm others;
- infringe intellectual property rights of any kind;
- introduce malware, probe or test vulnerabilities, scrape or bulk-copy content, or otherwise interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
7. Your content
Everything you write in the workbook — reflections, journal entries, goals, check-ins — is yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely so we can provide the Service to you. You can export your content at any time using the built-in PDF export, and you can erase it from Settings.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and all of its content and branding, including the workbook text, design, and software. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, pause or withdraw parts of the Service from time to time.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these terms. If your access ends, your licence ends too. You may stop using the Service at any time and can erase your data from Settings; once erased, it cannot be recovered.
12. General
You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else without our consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the protection of your local courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
